Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of HostKeel services, including web hosting, cloud hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, domain registration, email hosting, security services, and related infrastructure services.
1. Service Usage
Customers agree to use HostKeel services lawfully, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable laws, service rules, network standards, and upstream provider requirements.
Services may not be used for spam, phishing, malware, fraud, unauthorized access, copyright infringement, excessive abuse, or activity that harms HostKeel, our customers, our infrastructure, or our providers.
2. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all activity under their accounts, including websites, scripts, applications, databases, emails, files, hosted content, users, passwords, and third-party access.
3. Adult-Oriented Content
Adult-oriented content may only be hosted where fully legal in all applicable jurisdictions and must not contain exploitative, abusive, non-consensual, underage, trafficking-related, or otherwise prohibited material. HostKeel reserves the right to refuse or terminate services considered legally risky, harmful, or inconsistent with our network standards.
4. Billing and Payments
Invoices are due on the stated due date. Services may be suspended after 7 days overdue and terminated after 30 days overdue. Customers are responsible for keeping billing and contact information accurate and up to date.
5. Refunds
Eligible shared hosting services may qualify for a 21-day refund guarantee. Domains, VPS services, dedicated servers, software licenses, setup fees, managed support already provided, and abuse-related cancellations are non-refundable.
6. Backups
HostKeel performs internal backups for operational continuity. Some packages include daily customer-accessible backups, while other services may include weekly or best-effort backups. Customers remain solely responsible for maintaining their own independent backups.
7. VPS, Cloud, and Managed Support
Semi-managed VPS services include virtualization, panel, network-level assistance, and initial OS reinstallation support. Operating system administration, application troubleshooting, hardening, malware cleanup, migrations, and advanced software support are excluded unless a managed support addon is purchased.
8. Suspension and Termination
HostKeel may suspend services immediately without prior notice for abuse, security threats, spam, malware, resource abuse, legal violations, payment risk, or activity that may affect other customers or upstream providers.
9. Infrastructure Locations
HostKeel services may operate through infrastructure located in Singapore, Germany, Finland, the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Sri Lanka, and other provider locations.
10. Limitation of Liability
HostKeel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business-related damages, including data loss, downtime, loss of revenue, missed business opportunity, or service interruption.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed primarily by the laws of Sri Lanka. Certain services, infrastructure, domain-related matters, payment processing, and upstream provider obligations may also be subject to applicable international regulations, including United States-based provider or registry requirements where relevant.
