Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed on HostKeel services and helps protect our customers, infrastructure, and upstream providers.
1. Prohibited Activities
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or mass mailing
- Phishing, fraud, scams, impersonation, or credential theft
- Malware, botnets, command-and-control systems, exploit hosting, or harmful scripts
- Cryptocurrency mining or mining-related abuse
- Copyright infringement, warez, pirated software, illegal downloads, or unauthorized media distribution
- DDoS activity, port scanning, brute-force attacks, or unauthorized access attempts
- Content or activity illegal in applicable jurisdictions
2. Shared Hosting Restrictions
Shared hosting may not be used for VPN/proxy services, game servers, streaming platforms, long-running background processes, cryptocurrency tools, excessive CPU usage, excessive memory usage, high-risk scripts, or resource-heavy automation.
3. Streaming Services
Streaming is not permitted on shared hosting. Legal streaming workloads may be considered only on cloud, VPS, or dedicated server services, subject to resource usage, copyright compliance, and legal requirements.
4. Copyright Content
Customers may not host copyrighted files, movies, music, software, images, scripts, or digital content without proper authorization.
5. Enforcement
HostKeel may suspend, restrict, null-route, or terminate services immediately where abuse, security risk, or legal exposure is detected.
